Privacy Policy
How HostChacho collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit www.hostchacho.com or use our services.
Last updated 17 Oct 2026Who we are
Our website address is https://www.hostchacho.com. HostChacho is a sub-brand of Chunk Labs.
What personal data we collect and why
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
Essential: when you sign in we set a cookie that keeps you signed in, and your browser keeps your cart and your cookie choices. These are needed for the site to work and are always on.
Our own visitor statistics count page views and a few actions (such as adding to the cart) without cookies and without anything that identifies you.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4, from Google, measures how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets cookies and receives the pages you visit and what you do on them.
Marketing (optional): the Meta Pixel, from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Google Ads measure how our adverts perform and let us show our adverts to people who visited the site. They set cookies and receive the pages you visit, what you add to your cart, and the value of an order (never your name, email or payment details).
Optional cookies stay off unless you allow them; in Pakistan they are on unless you turn them off. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Pages of your account, password resets and quotes are never reported to Google or Meta.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that content, including when you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognise and approve follow-up comments automatically.
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
With your permission, Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Meta Pixel) receive the data described under Cookies. They may process it outside your country, under their own privacy policies: policies.google.com/privacy and www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Payments are handled by our payment providers (Stripe for cards, Kuickpay in Pakistan); we never see or store full card numbers.
